Facility planning guide

Plan access before the first cleaning visit.

After-hours cleaning needs authorized access: who enters, which spaces are permitted and what happens when entry fails. Never put real codes or credentials in a website inquiry.

01

Separate time from permission.

A preferred service window does not establish permission to enter. Identify who authorizes access and which spaces are restricted.

02

Use the facility’s credential process.

Confirm key or badge handling, authorization changes and return or revocation procedures through the responsible building contact.

03

Agree an exception contact.

Ask what happens with a locked door, unresolved alarm or unexpected person onsite. Identify an escalation route without assuming an unverified response time.

04

Review at transitions.

Reconcile access when staff, tenants, providers or responsibilities change. Cleaning arrangements do not replace the facility’s own security policy.

Continue with Switch providers.
