South Bend–Mishawaka · Facility inquiries

Clean support spaces without blurring the industrial boundary.

An industrial facility’s offices, restrooms and breakrooms need a bounded cleaning scope. Routine support-space cleaning is different from work on production equipment, hazardous residues or restricted process areas.

01

Mark eligible areas and exclusions first.

Use a facility plan to separate administrative and welfare spaces from production, loading and controlled areas. The provider must confirm the spaces, materials and tasks it is equipped and authorized to handle.

02

Account for shifts, traffic and access.

Breakroom peaks, shift changes and pedestrian or vehicle routes affect when work can take place. Record site induction, escorted access and restricted-area requirements.

Continue with Access & security.

03

Match methods to surfaces and soil.

A chemical, machine or method suitable for an office may not suit a process area. Ask for the exact method, equipment and product information relevant to the proposed work.

Continue with Supplies & consumables.

04

Set a stop-and-report boundary.

Unexpected spills, unidentified residues and damaged surfaces need a defined reporting route. Do not silently include hazardous-material handling or machinery cleaning in a routine scope.

05

Prepare a support-space proposal.

Provide room types, shifts, service windows and access constraints. Keep sensitive production information and security credentials out of the initial inquiry.

Continue with Walkthrough checklist.
